DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS! The guy on the phone at the 800 number came off as knowledgeable and customer service oriented. He had the quote to me quickly, they undercut the competitor by a few hundred. They picked up the furniture in OK no problem. It was wrapped well, the movers were polite and efficient according to my sister who was at the pick up site. The problem began right after pick up. I asked them when they could pick up in order to have the furniture delivered by June 17. Oh yeah no problem - and they gave me a pick up date. On the afternoon of the 17th a woman named Maria from the Florida office of Trans Union Logistics (American Van Lines had Subcontracted my move) called to tell me that the furniture would be delivered at some point the next week. This was the afternoon of the day it was SUPPOSED to be delivered. She was very clear on how much money I owed and who to make the check out to, then she left an extension without the rest of the phone number. I had to go through eight transfers to get to her, and finally wheedled the phone number out of her. She called on Tuesday morning and told me the furniture would be at my house between 6 to 8PM on Wednesday. SO - I took more time off work to be there. 8 Pm came and went. 9 PM, 10 PM. I left a message for a guy named John in customer service, a guy who never picks up his phone (305-653-6006)". No response as of this morning/. In talking with my sister I discovered the Trans Union Logisitcs had subcontracted to Rolo Express, who actually picked up the furniture?.

So where is my furniture? It's been over a week since it was picked up, so it should be here;. It doesn't take that long to drive from OK to CA|. My attorney will have to find out, because I am calling him next!. I'm sick of dealing with 20 year olds who chew gum in my ear and don't give a ***, don't call you back and don't return messages left on answering machines!. I repeat - do not use these people:. They lost my furniture and won't admit it. 129381c

They ahve nto lost it. They have it somewhere waiting to make you even madder so you will pay more when the time comes and will just be happy to get your items.

File a complaint with the FMCSA and also the state AG's in OK and CA. Also go to the CA PUC to file a complaint. Be prepared for the worst. They have probably switched it out a few times
